FAQs

Here are some frequently asked questions about Andrew King Chocolates. We hope the information below addresses your inquiries, but feel free to reach out with any additional questions!

How long do my jewel like chocolates last?

Once opened, you won't be able to resist them, so not long!  Andy uses the best of local fresh products, so we give them a 'Best Before' date of 1 month, not to be confused by a 'Use by date'.  However if you are giving them for a gift and don't need them for a week, Andy recommends you keep them in a cool environment or place in an air-tight container and place them in the fridge ~ just bring your chocolates out when needed and bring slowly to room temperature and enjoy or gift them ~

How quickly can you dispatch my chocolates once I have ordered?​

You will receive an order confirmation via e-mail, Andy will then ensure your chocolates are dispatched as soon as possible.  We give ourselves 24 hours to organise your chocolates, however, we usually dispatch the next day using Royal Mail 24 Hour Tracking.

Who do you use to Post Andrew King Chocolates ?

We use Royal Mail 24 Hour Tracking and costs £5.65 up to the value of £60.00 and over this it is £7.50. On the day of dispatch we will send you an e-mail with your individual tracking number, this can be used on the Royal Mail web site to track your parcel.  Perfect to use when you are sending a gift of Andrew King Chocolates to someone.  Please do note that on some occasions Royal Mail do not always deliver within their time slot, unfortunately we do not have any control over Royal Mail.  We will endeavour to do everything possible to ensure your chocolates are delivered on time.

Do you offer a nominated delivery day?

Yes of course, this is perfect when you are sending for someone's birthday or anniversary, just let us know and we will dispatch the chocolates accordingly.

At Christmas ~ we recommend you contact us early to organise your Andrew King Chocolates, we will communicate with you via e-mail when you wish us to dispatch your Andrew King Chocolates for Christmas.  We will endeavour to dispatch as close to Christmas as we can, but the earlier you order, the closer to Christmas we will dispatch!

Can I amend my order after it has been placed?

If you send us an e-mail we will endeavour to make the necessary changes for you, please don't panic.

Where is my order?

Just use your Tracking Number on the Royal Mail website and it will let you know or alternatively please do e-mail us.

Can I add gift bags or wrap to my order?

Our luxury Andrew King Chocolate boxes will be carefully bubble wrapped and then wrapped in Green tissue paper, we then place one of our lovely 'Andrew King Chocolates' postcards on the top, hand written on the reverse of the postcard will be 'Enjoy, with very best wishes'.  You are more than welcome to personalise this message, please just e-mail us.  All our messages are handwritten by Cheryl using an ink pen ~ there is no extra charge for this.

​Do you Deliver your Chocolates Overseas?

Unfortunately we only deliver our Andrew King Chocolates to locations within the UK.  We use Royal Mail 24 Hour Tracking at £5.65 per parcel.

Do you send Chocolates in hot weather?

To protect your precious Andrew King Chocolates during periods of very warm weather, we may remove or extend the Standard Delivery time frame to minimise the time your order spends in transit.  When Andy feels the temperature is controlled for a few days, he will use insulating pouches for your chocolates, fold them in bubble wrap and then tissue paper to ensure they reach you or your chosen recipient in the best condition.  We will always remain in contact with you via e-email you to update you on delivery ~

How do I send a box of Luxury Andrew King Chocolate Boxes as a gift to Someone Special? ​

  • Add the recipients name and address​ where you wish the chocolate gift to be sent to.

  • Use your e-mail address for all correspondence ~ A tracking number will be sent to you on the day of chocolate dispatch.

Which payment methods do you accept?

For online orders, you can pay by Debit / Credit cards using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro,  For orders over the telephone, 07887851276  you can pay by Debit / Credit cards Visa, Mastercard, Maestro.  We will happily accept cash at our markets and when collecting at Rowleys Place, Moccas, Herefordshire.  Payment can also be made via BACs, we will send you our bank information when required.

I placed an order but didn't receive an order confirmation email – was my order successful?

Your order confirmation email may take up to 30 minutes to arrive. If you still haven’t received anything after 30 minutes, please give us a call on 97887851276 or please send us an e-mail and we can confirm if the order was received at our end.

How do I add message cards to my order?

Just e-mail us your message and this will be handwritten in ink by Cheryl on one of our lovely 'Andrew King Chocolate' postcards for you .  There is no charge for this.

Can I send a gift anonymously?

Yes of course, we won't add in any details you don't wish us to, we will place one of our lovely 'Andrew King Chocolates' postcards on the gift of chocolates, with the words 'Enjoy, with best wishes'.
